Prince Harry and the actress formerly known as Meghan Markle, now Meghan Duchess of Sussex went on their first royal overseas engagement together and I was there to cover it. Ive never been to Ireland before and to be fair I didn't really get a chance to see that much of it!. During their tour the young royals visited Croke Park stadium where they were treated to demonstrations of traditional Gaelic sports like Hurling and Camogie and they got a chance to meet some of their adoring fans. They also visited Trinity College and the Famine memorial in Dublin. They finished off the tour at the EPIC museum and Dog Patch Labs where they were met by hundreds of fans hoping to get a glimpse of the newlyweds.
Some things I'll take with me from Dublin...they love a drink. There seems to be a pub or wine bar everywhere you look. The Guinness does taste better in Ireland. The Irish are so hospitable and friendly and the traffic in Dublin is a nightmare. I'd love to go back soon with the family and explore more of the Emerald Isle!
